Principal Dentist
Dr Khoo Huan Ding is a general dentist and Principal Dentist at WeSmile Dental, seeing patients at our Bedok and Orchard clinics. Her clinical interests are aesthetic dentistry, tooth wear management and implant-retained dentures. She speaks English, Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu and Cantonese.

Dr Khoo Huan Ding trained in the UK and Hong Kong. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Honours) from the University of Manchester, an MSc in General Dentistry from The University of Hong Kong, where her research on implant-supported overdentures was published, and an MSc in Aesthetic Dentistry from King’s College London. She then completed a perio-prosthodontic residency in Taiwan, focusing on smile design and the aesthetics of teeth and gums.
Dr Khoo provides comprehensive dental care and values building long-term relationships with her patients. She has a particular interest in identifying and treating tooth wear, restoring the function and form of worn teeth. Her approach is evidence-based, conservative and gentle, with a focus on preserving natural tooth structure.
Outside the clinic, she is a fitness enthusiast who is always training for her next race, big or small, somewhere in the world.

Tooth wear is the gradual loss of tooth structure from grinding, acid erosion or brushing too hard. Tooth wear management is one of Dr Khoo’s main interests, and she sees patients for it at WeSmile Dental Bedok and Orchard.
Implant-retained dentures are dentures held in place by dental implants, so they stay more secure than dentures that rest on the gums alone. Dr Khoo’s published research looked at implant-supported overdentures in older patients.
